Libertyville Summer Chess Camp 2025:
Terms & Conditions

1. Registration and Payment

• Registration must be completed by May 31, 2025.
• A non-refundable camp fee of $299 (early bird) or $349 (standard) is required at the time of registration to secure a spot.
• Late registrations may be accepted with an additional $25 fee if space allows.

2. Eligibility

• Open to children ages 6 to 13, regardless of chess experience.
• Campers must adhere to camp rules and demonstrate respectful behavior.

3. Schedule and Attendance

• The camps will run from June 16 to 20, 2025, and June 23 to 27, 2025, Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
• Drop-off begins at 12:50 PM, and pick-up must occur no later than 4:10 PM.

4. Conduct

• Campers are expected to behave respectfully toward peers and instructors.
• Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal without a refund.

5. Health and Safety

• Parents/guardians must provide pertinent (e.g., allergies or special needs) medical information during registration.
• The camp is not responsible for lost items, injuries, or illnesses that occur during camp hours.

6. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made by May 15, 2025, will receive a 50% refund.
• No refunds will be issued after May 15, 2025, unless the camp is canceled by the organizers.

7. Media Release

• Photos and videos may be taken during camp activities and used for promotional purposes.
• Parents who do not consent must notify the camp in writing by June 7, 2025.

8. Liability

• Libertyville Summer Chess Camp and its staff are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or personal property loss.

9. Emergency Contact

• Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact information.

10. Agreement

• By registering, parents/guardians agree to the terms and conditions outlined above.
